Now that Bees has taken to living here, she is less eager to please and more about trying to confuse us as much as possible. Right now, the easiest way to call her is to make scratching noises or go to bed without her.

Quick tiger doodle. I haven’t been well today, but I wanted to draw something, so a tiger ended up being it.
Whenever Tyler and I are in bed, she likes to climb in and get settled with us. Sometimes getting settled means cuddling. Sometimes it means walking into my copy of This Book is Filled With Spiders and slamming it shut while slapping her thighs into my face.

I hadn’t actually heard a cat chirping in person until Bees came into our lives and it’s easily one of the best sounds ever. She’s a very vocal cat.

Bees is always really pumped in the morning. We keep her in our room with us at night to keep her from getting into trouble while we sleep, so she always has to make sure everything is as she likes it when she wakes up. You know, by running like 30mph around the apartment.
By the time you read this, our living room will have changed! But this is it.

Bees hates having her litterbox fucked with. She’s all good with minor nuisances—liners getting stuck on her claws, running low on litter—but as soon as we fix those problems, she loses her mind and starts throwing litter out of her box, crying.
